Hello! My name is Michelle Tapia. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I recently received my B.A in Child Development and Family Sciences from Cal State Long Beach. Go Beach! I am passionate about education and research as it empowers me to give back to low-income communities through academic support and youth advocacy. As a future educator, I wish to continue advocating for equity and change in our school systems- as this is a way I can show my gratitude. I love hiking and making my students laugh!
